Description
ValleyOrtho is seeking a dynamic and experienced Clinic Director to lead our team of 6 Orthopedic surgeons, 1 Podiatrist and 7 physician assistants. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the management and growth of our orthopedic clinic while working alongside a dedicated team of medical professionals.
Responsibilities:
As the Clinic Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our orthopedic clinics and ensuring the highest quality of patient care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the team of surgeons and physician assistants, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Operational Management: Ensure the efficient functioning of the clinic, including scheduling, patient flow, resource allocation, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Quality of Care: Maintain a strong focus on delivering exceptional patient care, implementing best practices, and continuously improving clinical processes.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute strategic plans that drive the clinic's growth, reputation, and financial success.
- Budget Oversight: Manage the clinic's budget, monitor expenses, and identify opportunities for cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- Staff Development: Facilitate ongoing training and professional development for surgeons, physician assistants, and support staff to ensure their skills are current and aligned with the latest industry advancements.
- Patient Engagement: Implement patient engagement initiatives, gather patient feedback, and address concerns to enhance patient satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with external stakeholders, including hospitals, referring physicians, and medical suppliers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare management, preferably in an orthopedic or surgical setting.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team of medical professionals.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities to manage complex clinical operations.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and industry trends.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with staff, patients, and external partners.
- Proven track record of driving operational excellence and achieving strategic objectives.
- Proficiency in using healthcare management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
